How often do we want mercy for ourselves but justice for others?

We disobey God. We bring disgrace to His name by our sin and we waste what He gives us. We go our own way, and when it all goes wrong, we come back to Him because we have nowhere else to go. And he runs to greet us.

How can we follow His example of making the lost “found”?
The first thing is our attitude.

In modern times, we have lost the horror that went with carrying a cross. But when Jesus talked about carrying a cross, he meant to love so much that you are willing to sacrifice everything, including your own life.

We are invited, but will we come? Are we too busy with our own affairs? Do the things of this world seem more important to us than the things of God?

Respect is not a problem, but pride is.
